    Tungsten is a metallic element, the chemical symbol is W. Atomic number is 74, relative atomic mass is 183.85, atomic radius for 137pm, and density is 19.35 g/cm?.

    Application:

    - Tungsten powder is the raw material of making of pure tungsten products or tungsten alloy.
    - Pure tungsten powder can be made into wire, rods, tubes, plates and other special shapes of materials.
    - Tungsten powder can be made into all kinds of alloy while mixed with other powder, such as tungsten-molybdenum alloy, tungsten-rhenium alloy, tungsten-copper alloy and high density tungsten alloy etc.

     Production Process:

    Reducing tungsten trioxide or ammonium paratungstate by hydrogen reduction furnace (electric furnace of rotary furnace).

    The process of hydrogen reduction of tungsten powder needs two steps: 

    - The first step in 500~700℃ and reducing WO3 to WO2

    - The second step in 700~900℃,Reducing WO2 to tungsten powder.
